Finance Session Descriptions:
Special Education Updates Tuesday 3/16/2021 11:00
This presentation will provide an update of what’s new in the world of Special Education Funding. Included topics will be centered around the governor’s executive orders, maintenance of effort and an overview of the Special Ed What-if available for districts to use when estimating Special Ed revenue. This session will require you to register with a name and email prior to entering the meeting.

This session will provide an update of the Food and Nutrition Program for the 2020-2021 school year. This session will also include highlights of requirements districts need to be aware of as a result of the COVID 19 Pandemic, including reporting requirements, timelines and much more.

Minnesota’s Wage Theft Law and Employee Notification Requirements Friday 3/19/2021 9:00
The Wage Theft Prevention Act of 2019 amended existing state labor laws and added new requirements for all employers. This session will cover what districts should be doing to comply with the law and answer frequently asked questions.
